April Employee of the Month: Brett Lifto

Brett Lifto is a Sophomore at UW-La Crosse, majoring in Marketing, and works with EcoWash to run the La Crosse Division. He grew up in Plum City, WI, and has ambitions to work in Sales Management and start a business someday. Brett led all marketers in the first week, setting a company record for most leads generated during that time. He has been top of the sales leaderboard this spring and hopes to maintain the #1 spot for company-wide total sales.

Here is our brief interview with Brett about his experience at EcoWash so far:

What made you choose to work at EcoWash?

This internship offers an incredible range of opportunities, from marketing and sales to management and running a business, all with guidance from experienced professionals and a successful business owner. I could really tell that everyone in the organization has a lot of ambition and passion for what they do. The environment was something I wanted to surround myself with and couldn’t pass up.

What have you enjoyed the most from your internship so far?

I have really enjoyed developing my professional skills in marketing and sales. Also, I highly enjoy working with everyone on the team; they’ve taught me a lot while making the experience both productive and enjoyable!

What skills have you learned from your internship so far?

I have learned a great deal about marketing, both in-person and online. Additionally, I have really been able to develop my sales skills and am excited to keep doing so! Running the division has also pushed me to get better at managing my time and staying organized, which has been a great challenge in a good way.

What are you looking forward to the most?

I really look forward to producing all of the work that I have sold and managing my crew to do so. I am eager to give them good guidance and make sure the jobs get done right.

Anything else you’d like to share?

I really appreciate the opportunities that this internship has given me in teaching me how to run a successful business.
