With 67,000 residents, Eagan, Minnesota sits just twenty minutes from Edina and another twenty from the Twin Cities. Eagan holds a rich history and great qualities of life.

Eagan is named after Patrick Eagan after he settled in Minnesota in 1860. Before becoming the strong residential city it is today, Eagan was once an agricultural hub in Minnesota.

Similar to other populated cities in Minnesota, Eagan shares the love for shopping and food. Eagan is conveniently located near several outlet malls and the Mall of America in the Twin Cities.

For food, Mediterranean and Mexican are popular hits. Eagan also has many Italian, Asian, and American cuisines in the city. Another big perk is how close it is to the Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport (MSP).

Like Edina, Eagan has an outdoor scene. In the city of Eagan, there are over 60 different parks for residents to bike, hike, swim, walk, kayak, fish, camp, and run at. One of the most popular parks in Eagan is the Lebanon Hills Regional Park.

Another popular location to enjoy the outdoors in Eagan is the Cascade Bay Waterpark. While Minnesota might be taken over by winter weather for a majority of the year, there are still many opportunities to enjoy the warm weather in the spring, summer, and early fall.

Eagan also holds many public schools with great test scores and safe communities.

The well-maintained neighborhoods, safe areas, opportunities for outdoor activities, rich history, delicious food, accessibility to the airport, and strong sports are just a few of the many things that Eagan, Minnesota has to offer.
