Crowds fill the street to support local vendors for the farmer’s market every Saturday. The same group of people rush into Camp Randall for a Badger football game. The culture of Madison brings the people together. Businesses line up on State Street, leading up to the beautiful capitol building. The details inside can be admired for hours. Madison is home to a public ivy, the University of Wisconsin. Students, staff, and all alike gather at Lake Mendota to enjoy a drink and the calm water. Madison is a city filled with lakes, sports, kind people and rich history.

Madison is a city where you get to enjoy all seasons. A hot summer day is best with a delicious meal out at Picnic Point and a jump in the water. The fall breeze makes walking to the Kohl Center feel like a warm hug. When things cool down, the lake freezes and turns into an ice rink. When the ice starts to thaw, the energy lifts for a beautiful Madison Spring.

Madison is surrounded by many communities in Dane County such as Middleton, Verona, Oregon, Fitchburg, McFarland, Stoughton, Cottage Grove, Sun Prairie, DeForest, and Waunakee.
