Milwaukee is a city of Wisconsin full of life, culture, and history.

Milwaukee is home to the Bucks of the NBA and the Brewers of the MLB. The city’s two major sports teams bring in a surplus of people from surrounding cities and states to support the local crew. Fiserv Forum and American Family Field house two strong professional teams that all Wisconsinites know and love. Both venues also host different concerts and shows throughout the year.

It is a perfect distance from cities like Madison, which is also near the wonderful cities of Middleton, Verona, Oregon, Fitchburg, McFarland, Stoughton, Cottage Grove, Sun Prairie, DeForest, and Waunakee.

Milwaukee is also rather close to Chicago, with lots to do and see.

The city of Milwaukee falls right outside of Lake Country and also holds the beautiful Lake Michigan. Many citizens and visitors of Milwaukee love to sit on local beaches, such as Bradford Beach, to enjoy the water. You can paddleboard, swim, kayak, sail, or boat. Lake Michigan is also home to lots of fish, including salmon, which many fisherman catch and eat. Lake Michigan also holds many perch, trout, pike, bass, walleye, catfish, and musky.

Next up on things to do in Milwaukee, the zoo! The Milwaukee County Zoo is home to nearly 2,500 species and is open until 5pm everyday of the week.

Milwaukee is home to many classic Wisconsin food and drink, such as custard, brats, fish fries, beer, and brandy old fashions. The “Cream City” is also the native place of the Harley Davidson motorbike. The iconic Harley-Davidson was founded in 1903, residents of Milwaukee can go to the famous Harley-Davidson Museum in Milwaukee as well.

The cultural city of Milwaukee also holds many festivals, such as the Summer Fest music festival, Brat Fest, German Fest Irish Fest, Festa Italiana, and Mexicana Fiesta. The cultural festivals share amazing music, food, and ceremonies.

The city’s Third Ward has many different shops and restaurants. The district is a very popular spot downtown, along with the beautiful Milwaukee Public Market.
